Step 70  – Purple Yarn

  1. 3 SC (1st on white DC). step 070-1
  2. 1 DC in front loop of white stitch. Skip 1 white stitch. SC.
  3. (FDC around blue DC. Skip 1 white stitch. SC.) 3 timesstep 070-2
  4. 1 DC in front loop of white stitch. Skip 1 white stitch. 33 SC.step 070-3step 070-4
  5. Repeat from (2) all the way round. N.B. on last repeat, finish with 30 SC instead of  33 SC and join with slip stitch.step 070-5

Step 71  – Brown Yarn

  1. SC (in purple DC). step 071-1
  2. (FDC around brown DC. Skip 1 purple stitch, SC) 4 times.
  3. DC in front loop of next brown DC, skip 1 purple stitch, SC.step 071-2
  4. 2 FDC around brown DCs (1st one being the one whose front loop was used in step 3 above).step 071-3step 071-4
  5. 7 SCs, skip 2 brown DCs and do 2 FDC around the next 2 brown DCs. Skip next purple stitch. SC.step 071-5
  6. 2 FDCs in the 2 brown DCs which were skipped in step 5. Skip next purple stitch.step 071-6
  7. Repeat from (5) and (6) one more time.
  8. 7 SCs, skip 2 brown DCs and do 2 FDCs around the next brown DCs. Skip 1 purple stitch. SC.step 071-7
  9. DC in front loop of 2nd brown DC around which you did FDC in step 8. Skip next purple stitchstep 071-8
  10. Repeat from (1) all the way round and join with slip stitch.step 071-9

Step 72  – White Yarn

  1. 12 SC (1st on brown DC).
  2. 2 SC in back loops of brown SCs.
  3. SC.
  4. Cluster of 2 FDC around 1st and 2nd white DCs.step 072-1
  5. 5 FDC around next 5 DCs.
  6. Cluster of 2 FDCs around last 2 white DCs.step 072-2
  7. Skip 5 brown stitches. SC.
  8. 5 SCs in back loops of next stitches.
  9. Repeat from (3) to (8) one more time.
  10. Repeat from (3) to (7) one more time.step 072-3
  11. 2 SC in back loop
  12. 13 SC.
  13. Repeat from (2) all the way round. N.B. on last repeat, finish with 1 SC instead of  13 SC and join with slip stitch.step 072-4

Step 73  – Blue Yarn

  1. 29 SC (1st & 27th on white clusters).
  2. Find Purple front loop through the brown cluster and DC through it.step 073-1
  3. Skip 1 white stitch, 3 SC in back loop
  4. 9 SC, 3 SC in back loop.
  5. Find purple front loop through th brown cluster and DC through it. Skip 1 SC.step 073-2step 073-3
  6. 37 SC.
  7. Repeat from (2) all the way round. N.B. on last repeat, finish with 8 SC instead of  37 SC and join with slip stitch.step 073-4

N.B. Any SC falling on blue stitches to be done in back loop

  4. DC in front loop of blue stitch, skip next blue stitch
    step 060-2
  5. repeat from (1) to (4) 2 more times
    step 060-3
  6. 2SC, 2FDC around white DC, skip 2 blue stitches, SC
  7. 2 FDCs around the white DCs, skip 2 blue stitches, 5 SC
    step 060-4
